Senior Principal Technical Data Specialist (Clinical Data Management)

Location: Remote in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship.

What you will do

• Define enterprise expectations for clinical data requirements, traceability, specifications, testing, quality, architecture, integration, migration, and archival.
• Govern CRF, edit check, technical specification, data transfer agreement, and database design practices across platforms, portfolios, and therapeutic areas.
• Set technical testing, validation, production-readiness, change-control, migration, and archival standards, directing responses to critical risks.
• Shape data integration, data-cleaning workbench, interoperability, data lineage, and control-point strategies across clinical data platforms.
• Lead technical strategy for complex and business-critical programs while influencing sponsors, vendors, technology leaders, and governance forums.
• Build organizational capability through mentoring, standards development, innovation sponsorship, and process transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent training and experience.
• Typically 12+ years of relevant experience, including enterprise- or portfolio-level technical leadership and major improvements or transformations.
• Expert knowledge of technical clinical data strategy, governance, compliance, inspection readiness, clinical data platforms, EDC, integrations, testing, migration, and archival.
• Ability to define enterprise requirements, specifications, quality, traceability, technical architecture, interoperability, and sustainable change-control practices.
• Exceptional judgment, enterprise thinking, strategic communication, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, sponsors, vendors, and governance forums.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship.
