Staff Architect - Data Platform (Remote)

Salary: $137,102–$246,784 annually, plus variable pay opportunity and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop privacy-preserving mechanisms, derived signals, and shared semantics for cross-border data products.
• Build cross-border entity resolution and record-linkage capabilities with data science teams.
• Design semantic, ontology, discovery, and access layers that make regional data consumable by AI agents.
• Guide technology adoption through reference implementations and reusable architecture patterns.
• Lead focused prototyping and R&D with product and engineering teams to validate Data & AI capabilities.
• Mentor engineers on systems design, fundamentals-based reasoning, and product awareness.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on data platforms, analytics infrastructure, and AI/ML systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience across the data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, BI and ML delivery, data modeling, schema design, quality, lineage, metadata, and governance.
• Experience designing and evolving shared platform architectures with unified, governed access across systems.
• Experience with distributed computing, cloud-native infrastructure, preferably Amazon Web Services, infrastructure as code, and production operations.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases, entity resolution, or record-linkage systems.
