Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and production-quality code.
• Build and operate cloud-native services throughout their operational lifecycle.
• Develop Java and Spring Boot backend services, RESTful APIs, and React front-end applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and developers in an Agile environment.
• Debug production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document technical findings.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience with production-grade enterprise applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Java 11 or 17, Spring Boot, RESTful API design, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Production experience with microservices architecture, service communication, and observability.
• Hands-on React development experience; familiarity with Angular or Vue is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, query tuning, and schema design.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and managed cloud services.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent platforms.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of eventual consistency, CAP trade-offs, idempotency, and saga patterns.
• Experience with automated testing, test-driven development, or behavior-driven development.
