IT Advisor (Cybersecurity/Cloud)

What you will do

• Provide leadership and guidance to outsourced IT service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
• Review, approve, track, and close technology service requests.
• Implement, monitor, and manage security infrastructure, endpoint environments, DevOps platforms, and cloud solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure and DevOps vulnerabilities, conduct security assessments, and coordinate remediation.
• Support application lifecycles across development, testing, integrations, release readiness, production operations, backup, recovery, and sustainment.
• Oversee infrastructure upgrades, software asset management, capacity planning, documentation, budgets, and operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• More than five years of relevant IT infrastructure experience covering data centres, system management, endpoints, DevOps, cloud services, virtualization, storage, security, and mobility.
• Verifiable experience with Check Point, Cisco Secure Access, Cisco Firepower/ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, and Azure Sentinel.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, risks, mitigations, IT infrastructure requirements, and third-party vendor management.
• Strong customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• MCSA, ITIL, CompTIA, or ISC2 certification.
• Experience assessing emerging artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT operations technologies.
