Sr. Analytics and Automation Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid work with flexibility to work from the office and virtually based on business and client needs

Salary: CAD 100,000–143,000 base pay annually

What you will do

• Design and implement automated workflows for micro-segmentation policy creation, validation, and deployment across hybrid environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for policy-as-code and support consistent, auditable deployments.
• Develop continuous policy compliance monitoring, automated evidence collection, configuration baselines, and drift detection.
• Integrate Guardicore segmentation with CMDBs, ServiceNow, ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and user-facing portals.
• Advance automation, data analytics, DevOps, API, and platform integration capabilities for Network Services.
• Share knowledge through documentation, workshops, and training across Network, Security, Application, and ITSM teams.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of micro-segmentation, security architecture, Zero Trust, least-privilege access, and lateral-movement reduction.
• Hands-on Guardicore experience and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, L3/L4 ACLs, and traffic-flow analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell, with at least five years of coding and development experience.
• Mandatory experience with Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD, policy-as-code, and infrastructure-as-code development.
• At least five years of experience in networks, security, IT, data analysis, and visualization, plus experience with YANG, YAML, XML, JSON, NETCONF, and RESTCONF.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, computer engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI to analyze traffic flows and automatically generate policies.
• CISSP, GCSA, GCSE, CCNP Security, or CCSM certification.
