Supply Chain Intern (Electric Marine)

Location: Onsite at the headquarters in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $32 per hour

An early-stage company developing electric powertrains, software, and vessel designs for consumer, commercial, and defense marine applications.

What you will do

• Support supply chain operations across planning, procurement, supplier management, logistics, and inventory optimization.
• Analyze supply chain data to improve forecasting, bill of material management, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
• Work with engineering, production, and finance to improve part readiness and material flow.
• Help implement best practices in sourcing, logistics, and supplier relationship management.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in supply chain management, business, data analytics, industrial engineering, engineering management, or a related field.
• Exposure to manufacturing methods for engineering parts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, decision-making, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership of projects with minimal oversight and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
• Available for the summer internship from June 14 through August 20, 2027, working onsite in Torrance, California.

Nice to have

• Experience or familiarity with high-performance electric vehicles, solar cars, Formula SAE, or similar projects.
• Firsthand experience operating boats.
• Familiarity with SQL, spreadsheets, email, and resource planning software.
• Interest in boating and clean energy.
