Supply Chain Lead (AI)

Location: In-person in San Francisco, California, with travel to suppliers, factories, and job sites

hirify.global is automating construction end to end for large-scale infrastructure, including utility-scale energy and data center projects.

What you will do

• Lead the company's engagement with suppliers supporting approximately $10B of capital projects.
• Build and strengthen relationships with manufacturers of transformers, switchgear, inverters, structural steel, cable, and related equipment.
• Work with engineering to translate technical requirements into factory-ready specifications and capacity plans.
• Help suppliers increase throughput, add capacity, and deliver at rates beyond their current operating levels.
• Develop the supply chain function without creating unnecessary bureaucracy or rigid procurement processes.
• Automate repetitive supply chain work with AI.

Requirements

• 5–20 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing operations for energy, construction, or other complex industrial systems.
• Experience leading supply chains for complex industrial equipment and systems.
• Understanding of factory capacity, throughput, lead times, production lines, and shift expansion.
• Experience scaling supplier or operational output significantly beyond its starting level.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into manufacturable solutions and communicate factory constraints to engineering teams.
• Ability to work in person in San Francisco and travel to suppliers, factories, and job sites.

Nice to have

• Engineering background.
• Existing relationships with manufacturers of transformers, switchgear, inverters, trackers, or other long-lead energy equipment.
• Experience establishing or scaling manufacturing capacity at a supplier or OEM.
• Supply chain experience at a fast-scaling hardware company in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or a similar field.
