Senior Analyst, Subscriber Growth & Monetization

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States

Salary: $114,400–$157,100 per year, plus potential bonus, long-term incentive units, and benefits.

Disney Entertainment's Direct-to-Consumer group manages global entertainment media and streaming businesses, including Disney+ and Hulu.

What you will do

• Support Disney+ International subscriber and revenue business planning with regional teams.
• Forecast and model subscriber growth based on content, product, macroeconomic, competitive, and other business factors.
• Track acquisition, retention, operating performance, KPIs, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare executive-facing presentations, written analyses, and supporting materials.
• Analyze subscriber data and provide strategic recommendations for new business and product initiatives.
• Model and structure partnerships to maximize net subscriber growth and operating income while minimizing retail subscriber cannibalization.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience in media, technology, strategy, business planning, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a similar analytically focused field.
• Strong Excel-based business modeling skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including PowerPoint and executive-level communication.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize activities, and work effectively under pressure.
• Passion for media, international business, and content; international business experience or knowledge is a plus.

• Experience modeling subscription or recurring-revenue businesses.
• Familiarity with global, large organizations.
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge of international business.
