Salary: $113,200–$133,800 per year

What you will do

  • Implement and evaluate educational programs, workshops, competency assessments, and orientation activities for nursing staff.
  • Provide oncology clinical expertise, support patient and family education, and advise nurses on symptom management and care interventions.
  • Coordinate orientation schedules, preceptors, weekly check-ins, completion records, and nursing student placements.
  • Educate staff on policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines, simulation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor nursing staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary leaders to improve care quality, safety, and patient outcomes.
  • Support quality initiatives, audits, safety-event curriculum development, and dissemination of evidence-based practice work.

Requirements

  • BSN required.
  • Current RN license in Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire, as required by the position.
  • At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including 1 year of oncology experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, time management, mentoring, and educational technology skills.
  • Expertise in evidence-based practice, competency models, simulation standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Professional certification such as NPD-BC, an oncology-specific certification, or another relevant certification required within 3 years of hire.
