Designer Intern (Electrical Design)

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Create detailed physical and electrical designs, bills of materials, and job estimates under an engineer's supervision.
• Prepare CAD or MicroStation drawings and project documentation.
• Provide low-level engineering support to engineers and other personnel.
• Complete assigned work within agreed schedules and budgets while maintaining quality.
• Construct relay equipment racks for testing and assist with project testing.

Requirements

• Be a current student pursuing a degree in EET, CAD, drafting, or a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated competence in CAD drafting, including AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume additional responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
