Electrical Engineering Co-Op

What you will do

• Design, analyze, modify, test, and evaluate electrical input/output systems.
• Generate system and schematic diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Integrate aircraft avionics systems and perform electrical load balancing and analysis.
• Calculate and design three-phase power systems.
• Analyze hardware requirements compliance and provide technical support to suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering.
• Participate in simulator installations and final customer sell-off activities.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree or higher program in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, computer science, or systems engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, customer-service-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Only U.S. citizens are eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements.
• Must be eligible for a Department of Defense Personal Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or BeagleBone.
• Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to learn new procedures and applications.
