AltaGas has a growing Data & AI team supporting enterprise data, analytics, artificial intelligence, governance, and digital transformation initiatives.

What you will do

• Support modern data platforms, data pipelines, workflows, and enterprise data asset management.
• Assist with data ingestion, transformation, monitoring, analysis, reporting, dashboards, and insights generation.
• Contribute to AI-enabled solutions, automation initiatives, proof-of-concept projects, and emerging technology research.
• Support data governance, data quality, standards, business definitions, reporting metrics, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Help deliver Copilot and AI adoption activities, including training materials, workshops, communications, presentations, and business cases.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams on projects supporting operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, data science, business analytics, business technology management, information systems, commerce, management information systems, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in data, AI, technology, and innovation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for continuous learning.
• Experience with data analysis, programming, reporting tools, AI technologies, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Git, or APIs is an asset.
