Data & Visual Insights Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule. The role is based at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then moves to 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target bonus, ranges from $90,000 to $113,000 CAD depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational, financial, and management reports.
• Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting systems, datasets, repositories, and data feeds.
• Gather and analyze data from multiple sources, perform ad-hoc analyses, and identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Write basic queries, extract data for reporting and dashboards, and support reporting automation and data optimization.
• Partner with managers and business stakeholders to clarify reporting needs, answer data inquiries, and communicate findings.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in Canada.
• University degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, a related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, finance analytics, or a related field.
• Experience working with data, spreadsheets, reports, or dashboards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data management, communication, and professional skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; exposure to SQL, BI tools, or reporting systems.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience and an understanding of financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
• CPA or another analytical or business designation.
