Wet Seals CAD Design Engineer (Solid Edge)

What you will do

• Deliver engineered-to-order mechanical sealing design services for Global Engineering and site technical offices.
• Prepare accurate general arrangement, manufacturing, proposal, component, and customer drawings using Solid Edge.
• Review drawing requests, establish design requirements, and perform quality self-checks.
• Support engineering process compliance, QMS implementation, global change notifications, and records management.
• Perform basic engineering calculations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using SCAT.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and provide timely design support to technical offices across countries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant design-office experience with precision components and assemblies.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably Solid Edge in 2D and 3D.
• Knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing techniques, fits and tolerances, and GD&T symbols.
• Intermediate English required; advanced English preferred, and advanced Spanish required.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work, operate with minimal supervision, interpret customer requirements, and follow engineering procedures.
