Sr. Developer Enablement Engineer (Quantum Computing)

Location: On-site in Broomfield, Colorado, United States. Candidates must be U.S. Persons as defined in the posting and must not be nationals of China or Russia unless also U.S. citizens.

Base pay: $144,000–$194,000 annually.

What you will do

• Own Systems and Nexus documentation, including conceptual guides, setup instructions, workflows, API and SDK usage, and troubleshooting content.
• Create and validate runnable Python code examples against current platform and product releases.
• Develop release guidance, launch plans, release-readiness checklists, and documentation quality standards with product and engineering teams.
• Investigate escalated customer cases, reproduce code-level issues, diagnose quantum computing and Systems problems, and drive customer-facing resolution.
• Use support trends, search behavior, user feedback, and content analytics to improve self-service resources and information architecture.
• Support product launches, workshops, conferences, and customer events while representing developer needs to internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in technical documentation, developer enablement, software engineering, solutions engineering, developer relations, or a related technical field.
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or a worker granted asylum or refugee status.
• Due to national security requirements, candidates must not be nationals of the People’s Republic of China or Russia unless also U.S. citizens.
• Strong software engineering skills, including hands-on Python development and the ability to build, test, and troubleshoot code examples.
• Experience documenting complex software, hardware, cloud, developer platforms, APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, or integrated hardware-software systems.
• Ability to test releases, reproduce technical issues, collaborate with engineering and product experts, and explain complex systems clearly.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with quantum computing platforms, compilers, emulators, hardware access workflows, hirify.global Systems, or Nexus.
• Experience with continuous integration, automated example testing, documentation-as-code, version control, and technical review workflows.
• Contributions to open-source technical projects or developer communities.
• Experience with competitive intelligence, developer relations, technical education, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical work.
