What you will do

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to produce precision-machined components.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools; perform offsets and basic machine adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments and maintain required dimensional tolerances.
• Document production and inspection data, report equipment issues, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production personnel to resolve machining issues and improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Requirements

• On-site work in Valley City, Ohio.
• At least 1 year of CNC machine experience preferred, including CNC lathe operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, basic troubleshooting, industrial machinery, and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience with quality control, precision measuring instruments, and accurate production records.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment while following written and verbal instructions.

Nice to have

• Technical training or certification in CNC Machining, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
