TL;DR
Project Manager (Process Mapping and Supplier Onboarding) (Banking/Process Improvement): Documenting and redesigning fragmented supplier-onboarding workflows for a banking client with an accent on process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, and third-party risk coordination. Focus on identifying gaps and inefficiencies, capturing controls and handoffs, and creating operationally usable future-state workflows in Microsoft Visio.
Location: Remote within the United States, aligned with EST and CST
Salary: $55–$60 per hour on W2

Contract project management engagement supporting a banking client.
What you will do
- Lead process-improvement activities across five to six supplier-onboarding workstreams.
- Facilitate discussions with third-party risk, strategic sourcing, legal, technology, and business stakeholders.
- Document current-state processes and design improved future-state workflows.
- Develop detailed process maps using Microsoft Visio or comparable tools, including dependencies, decision points, handoffs, and controls.
- Identify gaps, redundancies, inefficiencies, and flawed assumptions, then recommend practical improvements.
- Track progress across workstreams with the initiative lead or overall project manager.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in project management, process improvement, business process analysis, or workflow documentation.
- Advanced experience creating detailed process maps and workflows.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio or comparable process-mapping tools.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and gathering information from multiple teams.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn complex fragmented processes and connect information across workstreams.
Nice to have
- Banking or financial-services experience.
- Experience with third-party risk management, supplier onboarding, or procurement processes.
- Knowledge of banking controls, regulatory requirements, or risk-management practices.
- Visio or process-mapping certification.
- Workflow optimization, Lean, Six Sigma, or business process management experience.
