MRI Technologist (Per Diem) (AI)

Location: Fully onsite at the Vancouver clinic, with coverage shifts at the North Vancouver site; applicants should live within 45 minutes of the Vancouver clinic. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire.

Base salary: $83,000–$93,500 CAD annually, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Operate MRI scanners and perform high-quality hirify.global scans while following current scan protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, explain procedures clearly, and provide a customer-focused clinical experience.
• Prepare scan rooms, clean equipment, and order supplies.
• Complete image post-processing and transfer images to PACS.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report them to the appropriate department.
• Train new technologists in patient safety, room preparation, image acquisition, communication, time management, and post-processing.

Requirements

• At least two years of clinical work experience and strong knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safety.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) licensing, or an equivalent credential applicable to the role location.
• Completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technology program.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to independently perform advanced MR studies and accurately complete MRI examinations.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada without current or future employer visa sponsorship.
