Operations Analyst (Automation)

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain time-sensitive automated workflows to ensure accurate processing and service-level targets.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues, document defects, assess operational impact, and coordinate resolutions with technical and operations stakeholders.
• Process and remediate errors using standard operating procedures and independent judgment for novel situations.
• Analyze workflow performance metrics, case and document status data, and processing delays.
• Generate operational reports and data queries, and support reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Communicate workflow status changes and operational updates while assessing enhancement requests.

Requirements

• Previous operations experience monitoring workflows and ensuring requests and documents move accurately through automated systems.
• Experience coordinating with technical and operations teams to resolve defects and implement data fixes.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills, including data cleansing, pivot tables, tracking logs, and status reporting.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel and Tableau; SQL experience is preferred.
• Exposure to DevOps environments, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop data-driven recommendations.
• Experience working with personally identifiable information (PII) is required.

Nice to have

• Medical claims processing or VHA operational experience.
• Jira and Confluence experience.
• Experience communicating through Slack and working with VPNs and Remote Desktop.
• VA experience.
