Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (AI)

Location: US - Remote

Base salary: $140,000–$160,000 annually; target annual bonus of 10%.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test strategies and detailed test cases.
• Design and implement manual and automated tests across unit, component, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks for feature testing and AI-driven product workflows.
• Develop and maintain UI and API automation with Selenium, pytest, and Playwright.
• Conduct performance and load testing with tools such as Locust and create reports with Allure.
• Report regressions, provide feedback on design and testability, and collaborate with engineering, product management, and UX in an agile team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or in an equivalent role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with pytest, Selenium, Playwright, automation frameworks, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Bash, SQL, and microservices-based web applications.
• Understanding of the SDLC and testing pyramid, including frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and comply with applicable U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with Locust, AI products with non-deterministic behavior, GitLab CI, Jenkins, GCP, Azure, PowerShell, or Ansible playbooks.
