Senior Lead Process Engineer - Power Boilers

Location: Charlotte, NC; candidates must live in the region or be open to relocating to the United States. The role includes approximately 25% site work or travel.

What you will do

• Serve as a technical expert in fluidized bed boilers, gasification, auxiliary systems, process engineering, and Balance of Plant systems.
• Define technical concepts, assess main equipment capacities, and design process systems during the sales phase.
• Prepare calculations, equipment inquiry specifications, technical proposals, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate process engineering activities with customers, sub-suppliers, and other disciplines during project delivery.
• Lead hazard and risk analyses, provide theoretical training for customer operators, and support commissioning teams during site activities.
• Manage technical communication and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing business or with a supplier.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
