Company

hirify.global develops and operates gas-processing and urea equipment requiring industrial control and automation systems.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI applications for gas-processing and urea systems.
  • Develop pressure, temperature, flow, and level control strategies, including PID loops, sequences, alarms, permissives, and interlocks.
  • Perform factory and site acceptance testing, commissioning, and verification of control and shutdown functions.
  • Standardize control programs across equipment variations and manage configuration, version control, backups, and change procedures.
  • Prepare control narratives, cause-and-effect documentation, I/O lists, communication maps, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to Operations, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams, including remote and on-call support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline, plus at least three years of PLC, DCS, or HMI programming experience; alternatively, six years of relevant programming experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Working knowledge of ladder logic, structured text, or function block programming.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control-system documentation.
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation, analog and discrete I/O, PID control, alarms, and interlocks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical communication skills, with availability for an on-call rotation and after-hours support.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel approximately 35% to operating sites.

Nice to have

  • Allen-Bradley PLC programming with Studio 5000 or RSLogix 5000.
  • Experience in gas processing, oil and gas, oil refining, or petrochemical operations.
  • Experience with Ignition, FactoryTalk View, or VTScada HMI systems.
  • Experience with EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, remote I/O, industrial Ethernet, serial communications, and instrumentation.
  • Experience with gas heaters, pressure regulators, control valves, Coriolis flowmeters, urea controls, process safety, and shutdown systems.

Culture & Benefits

  • Combination of remote support, site commissioning, troubleshooting, and operating-site collaboration.
  • Participation in continuous improvement, equipment evaluation, and project-planning activities.
  • Equal opportunity employment practices.
