Manufacturing Project Engineer

Location: Peoria, Illinois, United States. Domestic relocation assistance is available. The role requires approximately 25% travel, including occasional international travel, and off-hour meetings.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year

What you will do

• Lead large-scale manufacturing projects across the four Earthmoving Division product groups.
• Support machine cab manufacturing and fabrication manufacturing programs.
• Drive modern manufacturing systems, digital manufacturing technologies, common standards, automation, robotics, and advanced assembly processes.
• Connect engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams through Concurrent Product and Process Design.
• Integrate manufacturing requirements into product and process development and support New Product Introduction programs.
• Lead initiatives involving common parts design, digital manufacturing threads, work instructions, smart tooling, and fixture design.

Requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes, techniques, and methods.
• Project management skills, including planning, organization, monitoring, and resource control.
• Experience with technical troubleshooting and computer-aided design and engineering tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing capacity planning and resource management.
• Ability to work primarily in Peoria, Illinois, with approximately 25% travel.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience leading manufacturing, operations, or engineering projects.
• Experience in heavy equipment, automotive, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with Global Teamcenter Manufacturing, advanced automation, data analytics, capital projects, or supplier development.
• Six Sigma, Lean, or Continuous Improvement certification.
• Experience working across global manufacturing organizations.
