AI Solution Architect - Undergraduate Intern (AI Infrastructure)

Salary: $118,898–$118,902 annual salary range for a US hourly internship role

What you will do

• Deploy and validate AI accelerator systems and multi-node AI clusters, including provisioning, software installation, and health verification.
• Run performance benchmarks, collect telemetry, and investigate system, networking, and software issues.
• Analyze hardware, firmware, driver, and software logs and support BIOS, firmware, and system software validation.
• Deploy and evaluate AI models with PyTorch, vLLM, and other AI frameworks, identifying workload bottlenecks.
• Develop Python tools, scripts, dashboards, and utilities for testing, monitoring, data collection, and cluster diagnostics.
• Collaborate across functions to integrate hardware, software, AI models, and applications into end-to-end AI solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, data science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• Experience with Python programming and familiarity with Linux command-line and system administration concepts.
• Understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, networking, or distributed systems.
• Evidence of solving technical problems through coursework, research, personal projects, robotics competitions, hackathons, open-source work, or internships.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and diagnose problems systematically.

Nice to have

• Experience with C/C++, Bash, Git, Docker, Linux/Unix, or software development workflows.
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, generative AI, cloud or cluster computing, GPUs, or AI accelerators.
• Project experience in AI/ML, robotics, autonomous systems, computer vision, distributed computing, HPC, or end-to-end AI solution development.
