Director, Technology Engagement (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in New Brunswick, New Jersey; other New Jersey locations or Horsham, Pennsylvania may also be considered.

Base pay: $150,000–$258,750 per year

What you will do

• Lead the Technology Engagement function and define its strategy, operating model, service standards, governance, and success measures.
• Develop enterprise narratives that connect Technology strategy, priorities, progress, and business impact for employees, executives, and senior stakeholders.
• Advise Technology Leadership Team members and senior leaders on executive communications, strategic storytelling, sensitive topics, and high-visibility leadership moments.
• Lead, coach, and develop Engagement Leaders while allocating resources across enterprise and functional priorities.
• Partner with Change Leaders, CIO Communications, Global Corporate Affairs, Learning, Strategy, Human Resources, and functional leadership teams.
• Use AI, automation, digital tools, quantitative data, and qualitative feedback to scale communications and measure engagement effectiveness.

Requirements

• Significant experience in executive communications, strategic communications, employee engagement, organizational transformation, or a related field.
• Experience advising senior executives and creating communications for high-visibility leadership forums.
• Ability to translate complex business, Technology, AI, transformation, operating model, talent, and organizational topics into clear narratives.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a global, matrixed organization and aligning senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience establishing communications or engagement operating models, standards, governance, measurement frameworks, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years of Technology communication or executive engagement experience strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent advanced business degree.
• Experience in Technology, healthcare, life sciences, or another complex, regulated global industry.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation, operating model change, AI adoption, or workforce transformation.
• Experience developing narratives for executive committees, boards, or similarly senior audiences.
