Senior Manager, Physical AI Communications (AI)

Location: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Bellevue, WA

Base salary: $149,000–$198,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the Physical AI communications strategy, including narratives, messaging, proof points, and media priorities.
• Lead communications for product, partner, and customer announcements from planning through media outreach and measurement.
• Build executive visibility and thought-leadership programs through interviews, keynotes, bylines, podcasts, and industry events.
• Develop customer and partner stories across robotics, autonomous systems, industrial applications, and scientific AI.
• Write press releases, media pitches, blogs, bylines, briefing documents, talking points, Q&A materials, and messaging frameworks.
• Advise Physical AI leaders on announcements, timing, risks, and issues while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of B2B technology communications experience with direct ownership of an earned-media program.
• Experience leading integrated product, partner, or customer launches end to end.
• Strong writing experience covering press materials, executive communications, and technical subject matter.
• Established relationships with business and technology media or experience building a media beat in an emerging category.
• Experience advising senior executives, preparing spokespeople, managing issues, and measuring communications performance.
• Applicants must satisfy U.S. export-control eligibility requirements to access controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, simulation, digital twins, industrial technology, scientific computing, or AI cloud infrastructure.
• Experience supporting technical founders, engineers, researchers, or product leaders.
• Global communications experience and participation in major industry events such as GTC, CES, Hannover Messe, or ICRA.
• Experience with analyst relations, policy communications, content strategy, investor communications, or both in-house and agency environments.
