Healthcare Attorney (Telehealth)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base salary: $225,000–$245,000 per year, plus annual performance bonus and equity.

Virtual medical practice providing 24/7 care for women and children across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause.

What you will do

• Provide healthcare regulatory guidance to support business growth and operations.
• Advise on professional licensure, scope of practice, supervision, telehealth, CPOM, and MSO/PC structures.
• Support compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, healthcare marketing, patient communications, and Medicaid reimbursement requirements.
• Advise on ERISA, group health plan design, and requirements related to health plan and employer partnerships.
• Support the launch of clinical services in new states and partner with clinical leadership on care model design.
• Manage cross-functional legal projects and provide clear, practical recommendations to business leaders.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and an active license to practice in at least one state.
• Minimum 7 years of legal experience.
• In-house experience at a healthcare company.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and regulations governing virtual care delivery and payment.
• Experience supporting a virtual-first or telehealth provider and launching clinical services in new states.
• Strong communication, judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage shifting priorities.
