Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner-Immediate Care Clinics (South Region), Full-time or Part-time, Days

Location: 15300 West Avenue, Orland Park, Illinois; work at one or more Immediate Care Clinics in Mokena or Orland Park

Salary: USD 58–75.75 per hour

What you will do

• Assess patients through health histories and physical examinations.
• Provide direct clinical care, diagnose health problems, and evaluate the need for further care.
• Prescribe or order medications, therapies, laboratory tests, imaging, and procedures within clinical privileges.
• Educate patients and families, document care, and refer patients to other disciplines when appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals while serving as a consultant, advocate, mentor, and preceptor.
• Participate in quality improvement, research, staff education, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing school or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Illinois licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant is required.
• APRN candidates must hold national certification approved by the Illinois APRN Board.
• Credentialing and privileges through the NMH Medical Staff Office.
• Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Availability for 3x12 or 2x12 day shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and on-call duties; no nights.
