Experienced Clinical Nurse - Medical Oncology/Gyne 13 Prentice Full Time Days

Location: 245 E. Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL, United States. Full-time day shift.

Salary: USD 36.50–58.40 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based care for assigned medical oncology and gynecology patients.
• Assess patients, identify outcomes, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate and document responses in the health record.
• Develop individualized, age-specific and culturally sensitive plans of care and patient education plans.
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, dignity, and effective resolution of concerns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate and supervise care activities, and communicate accurate information during handoffs.
• Support mentoring, professional development, innovation, and unit-based quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school or college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Analytical ability, communication skills, keyboard proficiency, and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Employment requires completion of a background check and applicable health and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Nursing specialty certification, when eligible.
