Location: Tufts Medical Center, Boston, United States

Salary: $124,800–$156,000 annually based on full-time equivalent.

What you will do

  • Provide advanced nursing care to an assigned oncology patient caseload in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary staff.
  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations, assess health status, and diagnose health and developmental problems.
  • Order and interpret laboratory, radiological, and age-appropriate screening tests; update patients and responsible physicians.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, perform procedures, and prescribe and monitor medications according to clinical guidelines.
  • Provide patient and family education, psycho-emotional support, discharge planning, referrals, and follow-up care.
  • Document encounters and communications in the EMR while contributing to quality improvement, team coordination, and professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to assess patients across age groups and develop complex treatment plans.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and clinical coordination skills.
  • Ability to perform onsite patient-care duties, including lifting and turning patients weighing 30–35 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, and exposure to infectious disease and blood-borne pathogens.
