Senior Manager, QA (Onsite) Overland Park, KS (Healthcare SaaS)

Location: Onsite five days a week in Overland Park, Kansas. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor a QA engineering team while providing hands-on technical direction.
• Own QA strategy across automation, manual, performance, regression, and integration testing.
• Modernize QA processes through shift-left practices, CI/CD integration, documentation, metrics, and feedback loops.
• Oversee testing for healthcare workflows, data integrity, interoperability, secure SaaS platforms, and cloud architectures.
• Guide testing of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, serverless components, load, stress, security, and performance scenarios.
• Manage QA budgets, resource planning, capacity forecasts, governance, and communication with engineering and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in testing, test automation, or software development.
• 2+ years leading technical QA or engineering staff and 3+ years managing large, complex projects.
• Experience with Agile development, full SDLC testing, automation frameworks, QA tooling, and CI/CD integrations.
• Strong documentation, communication, decision-making, and leadership skills in fast-paced environments.
• Must work onsite full-time in Overland Park, Kansas and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• QA experience with scalable, secure web or mobile applications and distributed cloud systems.
• Understanding of cloud-based SaaS architectures, including Azure and AWS.
