Senior Application Developer (Charles River Development)

Location: Camas, Washington; Plano, Texas; or Tampa, Florida, United States. On-site 100% for the first 90 days, followed by one work-from-home day per week. US citizens or green card holders only; H-1B sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually plus bonus.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Charles River Development enhancements, including requirements, design, configuration, integrations, testing, deployment, and support.
• Configure Manager Workbench or Central Workbench layouts, workflows, rules, and result sets.
• Develop and support frontend and backend integrations using the Charles River API Framework.
• Build integration workflows with REST APIs, services, and messaging frameworks.
• Support portfolio optimization workflows, including risk models, constraints, exposures, transaction cost analysis, and integrations with Axioma and OMEGA Point.
• Ensure Start-of-Day readiness, system stability, and clear functional and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of application development experience and a background in financial institutions or wealth management investment operations.
• Hands-on experience with the Charles River API Framework, including frontend and backend APIs.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning, plus Java or C# integration experience and Python programming.
• 3+ years of Charles River Development implementation or customization experience, including Workbench configuration and batch automation.
• Experience with order management workflows, equity and fixed-income markets, trading processes, and portfolio optimization concepts.
