PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer (PeopleSoft/Oracle): Operating and evolving enterprise PeopleSoft environments across development, test, training, and production with an accent on PeopleTools upgrades, PUM image applications, security, search, and cloud or middleware integrations. Focus on designing HA/DR strategies, automating operations with shell, Python, and Ansible, tuning platform performance, and delivering durable production support.
Location: 100% remote within the United States
Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do
- Install, configure, operate, copy, refresh, and clone PeopleSoft environments across development, test, training, and production.
- Lead PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft Update Manager image applications, patch deployments, and post-go-live support.
- Manage application servers, process schedulers, WebLogic web servers, Tuxedo, integration broker gateways, and PeopleSoft search infrastructure.
- Configure application, web, and infrastructure security and implement database connectivity with Oracle administration teams.
- Design and operate high-availability and disaster-recovery strategies while monitoring performance, capacity, and system health.
- Develop automation with shell, Python, and Ansible; maintain technical documentation and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are eligible.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 12 or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience, including upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager.
- Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, PeopleSoft application servers, and process scheduler servers.
- Experience administering Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for PeopleSoft, plus working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
- Strong Linux/Unix, shell scripting, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and HA/DR experience; familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
