Research Assistant (Soil Science)

What you will do

• Collaborate with researchers to design, set up, and execute field, greenhouse, and laboratory experiments.
• Collect and analyze soil and plant samples and support research data collection.
• Assist with experimental issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the soil science laboratory, equipment, and facilities.
• Handle farm equipment as needed and perform other assigned research duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and collaborate effectively.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history check.

• Master’s degree in Soil Science or a related field.
