What you will do

• Conduct chemistry research and analyze research findings.
• Disseminate results through group meetings, manuscripts, reports, scientific publications, presentations, conferences, and seminars.
• Develop research proposals and participate in writing grant proposals.
• Advise and mentor graduate students and assist laboratory team members.
• Maintain group software and hardware while following applicable safety standards.
• Stay current with scientific literature and contribute to group organization.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry.
• Ability to work effectively, productively, and independently.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with laboratory members.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, exercise discretion, and make important decisions.
• Employment is contingent on a criminal history investigation and credential verification.
