What you will do

• Assist with the design, planning, and coordination of experiments for research projects.
• Apply routine research techniques, maintain detailed data records, and evaluate experimental results.
• Manage laboratory resources, including equipment checks, mouse cages, reagents, and supplies.
• Install and operate research equipment and use computers and laboratory software for data and statistical analysis.
• Prepare funding proposals, reports, invoices, and cataloging records, and maintain research-related financial accounts.
• Support undergraduate and graduate students and other laboratory, technical, or field staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment.
• Knowledge of computers and software relevant to the position.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Required licenses and certifications may vary by research area.
• Work location: Bryan, Texas.
