Equipment Parts and Service Manager (Small Engine Repair)

What you will do

• Manage daily service department operations, personnel, assets, sales, and customer service for the Phoenix location.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, sales teams, and sales centers.
• Track sales, margin, operating income, market share, quality, billable hours, labor expenses, and other performance metrics.
• Lead staffing, training, coaching, delegation, performance appraisals, and employee development.
• Maintain buildings, trucks, trailers, and shop equipment in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, warranty and registration processes, rebates, and industry events.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role is desired.
• Prior experience repairing small engines, including two-cycle and four-cycle equipment.
• Ability to lead, coach, delegate, inspire, and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Strong organization, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated sales experience and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record according to the company’s automobile insurance carrier.
