National Fleet Manager

Location: Remote Office (Florida), United States; travel up to 10% based on business needs

What you will do

• Build and implement a national fleet operations program covering company-owned and leased fleet equipment across more than 40 US locations.
• Develop asset management strategies for asset additions, replacements, disposals, and lifecycle analysis using JD Edwards EAM.
• Plan fleet lease programs, manage procurement budgets, and negotiate with leasing companies and maintenance vendors.
• Define, track, and report fleet performance metrics, including utilization, CSA scores, indirect hours, and preventive maintenance compliance.
• Manage fleet-related DOT, OSHA, and EPA compliance, maintenance standards, operating policies, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Partner with business units, corporate leadership, vendors, and more than 200 independent distributors to improve fleet performance and operating efficiency.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of commercial fleet leadership experience.
• Experience managing all aspects of a national commercial fleet with at least 5,000 assets.
• Proven financial, tactical, continuous improvement, and fleet operations results.
• Technical knowledge of the fleet industry and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, present to senior executives, and develop team members.
• Exceptional communication, time management, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
