What you will do

• Embed within a business domain to understand workflows, decisions, systems, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead discovery sessions and translate ambiguous business problems into solution hypotheses, experiments, technical requirements, and success measures.
• Design and build AI applications, agents, copilots, RAG solutions, analytics tools, workflow automations, RPA solutions, integrations, and decision-support tools.
• Use Python, SQL, APIs, low-code tools, automation platforms, and AI-assisted development tools to create prototypes, pilots, demonstrations, and minimum viable solutions.
• Test solutions with users, measure adoption and business value, and incorporate feedback, monitoring, explainability, controls, and human review.
• Partner with engineering, data science, platform, product, automation, and business technology teams to productionize, deploy, scale, and support successful solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, data engineering, analytics engineering, automation engineering, solution engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI, analytics, data, or automation solutions used in real business workflows.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with the ability to build applications, automations, data workflows, integrations, APIs, and decision-support tools independently.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, agents, model evaluation, machine learning, statistics, experimentation, forecasting, and optimization.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and balance rapid experimentation with architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, and Responsible AI requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or relevant cloud, AI, data, analytics, automation, agile, or product certifications.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Power Platform, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio.
• Experience in healthcare, medical products, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, commercial operations, or corporate functions.
