Industry Solution Leader - Healthcare / Life Sciences (Laboratory) (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Travel to customer locations is required as needed. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$167,000 USD base pay annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions for high-volume diagnostic and laboratory operations.
• Work with specimen intake and accessioning, routing, analyzers, laboratory logistics, capacity, staffing, quality, rework, turnaround time, and specimen flow.
• Translate operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software problems with defined requirements and success criteria.
• Lead cross-functional teams of forward deployed engineers, data scientists, product managers, engineers, and industry experts.
• Collaborate with customers and product and engineering teams to validate solutions, support adoption, and scale reusable capabilities.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, operations research, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on experience in high-volume diagnostic or laboratory operations, including specimen intake or accessioning, routing, analyzers, and laboratory logistics.
• Experience owning turnaround time, capacity, quality or rework, staffing, or specimen flow outcomes.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, presentation, written communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, operations research, mathematical optimization, advanced analytics, or digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics, optimization tools, application configuration, or scripting.
• Experience taking technical solutions from proof of value through production deployment and scaling them across operations.
• Advanced degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
