Learning and Development Specialist 1st Shift (Onsite)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Salary: $64,500 per year (non-negotiable). The national pay range for the role is $64,500–$98,000 per year depending on location, education, skills, experience, performance, and shift.

What you will do

• Analyze training needs with local leadership, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and employees.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate classroom, online, and on-the-job learning interventions.
• Create courseware, training materials, standardized learning programs, and apprenticeship resources.
• Coordinate manufacturing training, safety compliance, orientation, job knowledge, leadership development, and apprenticeship activities.
• Track learning and compliance completion in the Learning Management System and develop training effectiveness metrics and reports.
• Recommend and implement improvements to training programs and employee performance in partnership with local managers and HR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the functional work.
• At least 2 years of progressive work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Understanding of adult learning theory and training design principles.
• Experience with multimedia training platforms and methods, training evaluation, and learning solution design.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace collaboration tools.
