What you will do

• Lead the branch team in achieving annual sales and profitability goals.
• Oversee branch operations, operational changes, product updates, and system enhancements.
• Grow the business through proactive sales, outside calling, and customer relationship development.
• Build partnerships across the bank to resolve customer, service, and employee issues accurately and promptly.
• Coach and develop branch staff while maintaining ownership of customer issues through resolution.
• Maintain federal SAFE Act registration and required insurance and business banking certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with common PC software, including Microsoft Office; internet and email experience is preferred.
• Life, Accident and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months of entry, with training provided within six months. M&T Business Banking Specialist certification is required within 18 months of hire.
