Assistant Cost Manager (Recent Grad)

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in hirify.global's Raleigh, North Carolina office

hirify.global provides cost management and quantity surveying services for construction and project delivery.

What you will do

• Attend key meetings and design reviews, monitor progress, and communicate project impacts to partners.
• Participate in site walks with the general contractor, cost manager, and client project manager to assess progress and identify cost impacts.
• Consolidate project data and prepare detailed estimates, cost reports, and analyses.
• Maintain accurate project change management logs.
• Collaborate with the wider Cost Management team on complex client tasks.
• Monitor financial close-out, including vendor settlements, across projects.

Requirements

• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline.
• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management across varied projects.
• Chartered status or progress toward completing a chartership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work from the Raleigh office three days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
