Business Analyst (Geospatial Data and Analytics)

Location: Remote within Puerto Rico, with required travel up to 15% to the hirify.global office in Guaynabo and periodic in-person meetings at client locations across the island. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $60,940–$103,598 annually

What you will do

• Gather, document, and translate stakeholder needs into business and functional requirements.
• Analyze business data, processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to support system enhancements and solution integration.
• Support project planning, scheduling, deliverables, stakeholder coordination, and government partner communications.
• Create business cases, use cases, workflow diagrams, reports, and other documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• US citizenship or permanent residency is required for federal contract eligibility.
• At least two years of experience in business analysis or a related field, including data analysis and business process improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and common data or reporting tools; ability to travel up to 15% in Puerto Rico.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL or similar business analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, PMBOK, or other project management methodologies.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, or performance tracking tools.
• Familiarity with geospatial, environmental, or housing-related programs.
