Senior Software Engineer (Java/React)

What you will do

• Design and implement system components for enterprise SaaS applications in the freight logistics domain.
• Influence developer culture, software architecture, and engineering practices as the product and teams scale.
• Work hands-on with engineers, product owners, designers, and other organizational stakeholders.
• Improve system quality, code quality, technical options, and internal development capabilities.
• Develop fast-running automated tests and help ensure high-quality delivery at a sustainable pace.
• Mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement in an agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in an agile environment.
• Expertise in object-oriented Java development.
• Proficiency in React development.
• Experience with automated testing, evolutionary design, and CI/CD environments.
• Ability to isolate and address performance problems.
• B2 English fluency and availability to work remotely from Mexico.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Spring application development.
• Team leadership experience and knowledge of Extreme Programming practices.
• Working knowledge of cloud architecture and 12-factor applications.
• Experience using AI to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
