What you will do

• Oversee the design, construction, validation, and support of IT systems for a greenfield small molecule pharmaceutical plant.
• Supervise the deployment and maintenance of LAN, networking equipment, servers, and IT devices in manufacturing and QC laboratory environments.
• Provide technical direction, manage projects, and serve as the primary IT interface for site development requests.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, QA, and global IT teams to support reliable 24/7 commercial operations.
• Establish GxP-compliant systems, strengthen data integrity and security, and configure backup and recovery protocols.
• Advance Pharma 4.0 technology services, systems, processes, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT management or leadership experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing or mid-size plants.
• Extensive knowledge of GxP manufacturing facilities, GMP, GAMP 5, and validation documentation.
• Experience with MES, e-logbooks, DCS, SCADA, BMS, EMS, asset management, networks, firewalls, data centers, and virtualized or distributed infrastructures.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, ISA 95, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, Aveva PI historian, Windows Server AD, AWS, MS-SQL, and Veeva.
• Experience with project management, budget control, Lean Six Sigma, or Green Belt practices; able to supervise contractors and project resources.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, particularly supporting complex manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of weighing and dispensing, granulation, tableting, and coating equipment.
