Distribution Center Manager - Mobile

Location: Saraland, Alabama, United States; on-site at the distribution center

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day receipt, storage, transfer, delivery, and safeguarding of slab and tile products.
• Lead inventory processes, including system cycle counts, physical counts, and inventory planning for sales demand.
• Build relationships with business partners, District Managers, Market Representatives, and customers to improve service and regional sales performance.
• Hire, train, motivate, and manage Distribution Center employees while providing operational direction and performance management.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe facility, including warehouse equipment and slab storage systems.
• Manage the internal fleet and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, and company safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or operations experience and at least two years of management experience.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to develop and manage a team, work extended hours as needed, travel to other hirify.global locations, and lift 50 pounds safely.
• Ability to work on-site in Saraland, Alabama, with light to heavy physical duties.
