Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & AI Compliance Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas; Dallas, Texas; or Morristown, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $120,000–$179,500 annual base pay for the Morristown, NJ location. Equity compensation is also available.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate an enterprise data privacy compliance program, including governance, data inventories, records of processing, privacy impact assessments, policies, metrics, and regulatory change management.
• Manage privacy operations and consumer rights requests, including intake, verification, tracking, documentation, and timely responses.
• Oversee marketing and advertising compliance for TCPA, SMS, CTIA messaging standards, CAN-SPAM, cookies, pixels, session replay, consent management, and campaign disclosures.
• Support cybersecurity regulatory compliance, risk assessments, certifications, audits, and examinations under NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, the NAIC Insurance Data Security Model Law, and NIST-related frameworks.
• Partner with Information Security on cyber event triage, investigation, containment, notification analysis, regulatory reporting support, documentation, and remediation tracking.
• Build AI governance processes, review vendors and third parties, maintain policies and training, support regulatory inquiries, and embed privacy, security, and AI requirements into products and business processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, and/or AI governance compliance within a regulated industry, including hands-on operational experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CDPSE are strongly preferred.
• Experience building or significantly maturing a privacy or compliance program.
• Working knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, state privacy laws, TCPA, GLBA, NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, and the NAIC Insurance Data Security Model Law.
• Experience with AI regulation in insurance use cases, security incident response, breach notification analysis, senior or board reporting, and legal counsel collaboration.
• Strong program and project management skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple regulatory workstreams.

Nice to have

• Insurance industry experience, particularly property and casualty insurance.
• Experience with privacy management, consent management, and GRC tooling.
