What you will do

• Define reference architectures and implement connectivity, display/UI, provisioning, pairing, and app/cloud integration layers for connected products.
• Own technically demanding subsystems involving Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi, Matter, Thread, and Zigbee.
• Lead design reviews, translate architecture into partner requirements, and resolve interoperability and integration failures.
• Support Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, and Matter certification submissions and resolve root causes of failures.
• Establish reproducible build standards, coding standards, review criteria, and quality thresholds for firmware codebases.
• Contribute to connectivity and display test automation, CI pipelines, RF and interoperability test infrastructure, and static analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of embedded software and firmware engineering experience with deep wireless connectivity and connected-device architecture expertise.
• Principal, staff, or lead architect experience on complex connected embedded systems.
• Experience taking products through Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, or Matter certification.
• Deep embedded C/C++, device security, secure boot, OTA updates, build systems, toolchains, testing, board bring-up, and low-level debugging experience.
• Experience with consumer electronics, home appliances, robotics, IoT devices, or other high-volume products, including technical mentoring and partner governance.

• Master’s degree.
• Experience influencing technical direction without formal authority.
