Senior Frontend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and build a modern headless front-end architecture for a high-traffic news platform.
• Lead front-end releases and deliver an initial page launch on an aggressive timeline.
• Define standards for code quality, component design, testing, and code reviews.
• Own Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, page speed, caching, and asset optimization.
• Integrate headless CMS solutions with in-house backend APIs.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and guide architectural decisions while refining AI-assisted and agentic workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of senior front-end ownership on production systems.
• Strong production experience with React and Next.js, including SSR, SSG, ISR, and App Router.
• Fluent TypeScript skills with a focus on clean, type-safe code.
• Experience integrating front-ends with headless CMS platforms and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, CDNs, caching, and asset optimization.
• Professional English required for daily work with a U.S. team.
